The Hayloft provides a brilliant bolt hole in an area of outstanding natural beauty with views across rolling countryside and from the garden down the valley to the sea and Port Isaac. A perfect spot to enjoy walks on the south west coastal path, the beaches of Polzeath and Rock and the wild beauty of Bodmin moor. Situated on the coastal B road it gives quick access to amazing coastline of North Cornwall, a wide range of excellent pubs and restaurants together with historic houses and castles.
The Hayloft is accessed via our courtyard garden by an outside staircase and comprises a small entrance lobby, shower room and a compact open plan living and sleeping area.

On arriving we ask guests if possible to park down on our gravel drive. Here you can get your first glimpse of the sea. In the majority of arrivals we will be there to greet you and show you to The Hayloft but if not or you wish to arrive late we will send details of how to yourselves in. We are totally flexible and dont have a problem with you arriving at anytime to suit your needs.
If you bring a dog the garden is fenced and secure for your pet to be off the lead for a run around, the only thing we ask it that you clear up behind it.
A small sitting out area in our lower garden affords a secluded spot to enjoy a BBQ (charcoal provided) and watch the sunset.

My husband Bob and I love sharing our knowledge of the local area with guests. Advising on where it is possible to walk, hire bikes and can update you on the state of the tide. We have local maps and leaflets to hand.
We have dined out in many of the local pubs and restaurants and are happy to help with reservations.
Andere dingen waar je op moet letten
We are happy to make space for you to lock your bike or surfboard in the shed over night.
We are happy to help with transfers from Newquay airport where Flybe operate a regular servcie from London Gatwick or Ryam air from Germany and Portugal.
There is also a good train servcie into Bodmin Parkway and we can pick up or give bus times.
A car is really desirable to get about as there is no local bus service through the village.
We love dogs and have a Golden retriever puppy Chester. Please tell me about the pet you wish to bring and we will do our best to accomodate it. Dogs are charged at £25 per stay.
To live on the north coast of Cornwall has long been a dream and it became a reality 4 years ago. I am passionate about the sea and love to walk with my husband and dog on the stunning beaches that surround our home. I work part time as a teacher and love being part of the local community.
