Large sun-filled room overlooking an expansive meadow in beautiful West Newbury. The vista is spectacular and the property is private. We are an easy ride of 8 miles to Newburyport and Plum Island and 5 minutes to Maudsley State Park, a gorgeous 480 acre former estate. West Newbury's country roads are exceptional for biking. Plenty of parking with storage for bikes if necessary. Perfect for 1 or 2 people visiting for biz or pleasure.

Provisions include soap, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, iron and ironing board. We also have 2 beach towels. The room has a refrigerator, complimentary water, wine glasses, knife, corkscrew and cutting board. There is an electric tea kettle, tea, raw sugar, cream, Starbuck's Via coffee and coffee cups. We do not serve breakfast. Plenty of parking and storage for bikes, canoe or kayaks.
Our guest room is on the 2nd floor with a private staircase. Your bathroom is private but not en-suite; it is down a light-filled hallway.

We are around 90% of the time if you should need anything, as both Bill and I work out of the house. The house is spacious and you will have lots of privacy.

There is no housekeeping during your stay. If you should need anything just let us know. Official check-in time starts at 3pm . Check out time is 11:00am. We are flexible with arrival and departure times. We have 2 indoor cats that are not allowed in your bedroom. We kindly request you keep your bedroom door shut.
Sue and Bill have a passion for house projects in their spare time. Bill is a technical sales professional, musician and sailor. Sue is a landscape designer and ceramic artist. Both enjoy traveling, biking, music and family.
