Thank you for your honesty. I can only apologise that you found the kitchen utensils sticky and oven dirty and I will take this up with our cleaner. As we were away on business we were unable to check the house before your arrival and this is also perhaps something we need to remedy. Flies can indeed be a problem in the country side and the best thing to do is to only keep the doors and windows with the special fly nets open and the rest closed. I will make sure we explain this to future guests. As regards the pool this was a problem caused by the stormy weather and was remedied immediately by our daughter on her return. As you said to us when we returned from our trip this had not been a problem because the weather had been awful that week. We do our very best to ensure our guests are comfortable and made to feel at home and we are devastated that you did not enjoy your stay to the full. We wish you had taken the opportunity to discuss this with us when we met you.
