It is situated 1.2km off the main Kalka-Shimla highway midway between Kasauli and Shimla. It provides an ideal base from which to explore Himachal.

Rambling Rose's appeal lies in its secluded location. To reach the cottage you'll park up and walk for around 15 minutes along a winding woodland trail with stunning panoramic views. You'll need to carry everything with you so be sure to pack light and bring sensible shoes!
At the end of the trail you'll find a beautiful, traditionally constructed cottage, surrounded by fields and open spaces. You'll even find a swing from which to enjoy them!
Rambling Rose is generously proportioned, with an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area, two large double en-suite bedrooms and a further en-suite drawing room with two folding single beds.

Breakfast is complimentary. You can choose from an Indian or Continental menu. We do not serve meals. On special request meals may be served. Rs. 450 for non vegetarian meals and Rs.350 for vegetarian meals per head per meal.
A typical Vegetarian menu would be 1 paneer dish, 1 dal, 1 subzi, salad, dahi and rice or rotis. A non vegetarian menu would replace the paneer dish with a chicken one.

Rambling Rose is connected to the car park via a 15 minute winding woodland walk through the hillside. It is not suitable for persons with impaired mobility and senior citizens, small children will have to be supervised along the walk.
Guests visiting must be able to walk for an hour in the plains easily.
