Restharrow is a well loved family holiday let, set in a beautiful location. The house has beautiful country views to the rear, and the most stunning view of Brae Hill, Daymer and the estuary to the front. It is within easy walking distance of Daymer Bay beach, via a footpath.
Restharrow is a spacious 4 bedroom dormer bungalow, sleeping 7. Located within a short walking distance of Daymer Bay, which has it's own microclimate and safe bathing, it is a perfect place to stay for families with children. Either side are Rock (offering a huge array of water sports and activities, a good selection of shops, pubs, fine dining, and golf at the St. Enodoc golf club) and Polzeath renown for its surfing, with the little gem of Greenaway, along the costal path, which has the most amazing rock pools to explore, in between. Padstow, home of Rick Stein's restaurants, is only a passenger ferry trip away from Rock.
The property has 2 twin bedrooms and a single bedroom on the first floor, with a double bedroom on the ground floor, each with a wash basin. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with a shower, kitchen, large dinning room with a wood-burner, a spacious lounge with an open fire, and a veranda to the front of the property. Outside is a patio area, with a table and seating for eating out and enjoying the view. There is ample parking for several cars, and the garden is enclosed for child safety.
The property benefits from beautiful views to Daymer, Brae Hill, the Camel Estuary, and St. Enodoc church having been buried in sand, and is the burial place of Sir John Betjeman; There are countryside views to the rear, of Roserrow golf and country club, the Point, and surrounding area. which steeped in ancient and fascinating history.

The whole of the property is available for access, except 2 locked store cupboards. The property will be unlocked ready for your arrival. The property has its own drive, and can easily take 3 cars, guests are also welcome to use the farm shop area for parking. The property has 2 large wooden gates to the front drive, and two wooden gates to the rear, any or all of which can be shut for child or dog safety.

I live close by, and look after the house. My parents and brother run the farm shop and live in the property at the rear. We are all happy to help, and we want you to have a wonderful holiday, we can help you with anything you need to know and anything about the area; or if there is any problems we are at hand to sort them out quickly.

Our change over days are Fridays. Out of season this is flexible. Main holiday times are a week booking only, unless there is an availability 4 weeks prior.
Please respect my property and it's contents and leave it in a clean and tidy condition, should extra cleaning be necessary, a £50 charge will be made from your security deposit. All damages or breakages must be paid for in full, or replaced for like.
Smoking is permitted outside the property only, all ends must be safely and cleanly disposed of.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, by prior arrangement only. Maximum of 2. Extra charge of £25. They must be kept of the furniture and beds for the courtesy of following guests, must not be left in the house on their own, and any waste must be picked up and binned outside.
We accept family bookings only. No over night guests. No more than 7 sleeping, exception for travel cot/cot.
Bed linen is provided for the number of guests booked to stay, should the numbers be different after booking, you are required to let me know.
Towels are not provided and must be brought with you; for guests that are travelling via airport, with limited luggage, arrangements can be made at a small extra cost to supply these for your stay.
Electricity is by £1 coin meter.
We have a highchair, cot and stair gate. Please ask if you would like the stair gate and cot, as we will put these up for you.
Please use the outside shower for washing off sand, wet-suits and pets.
Although we don't have a tumble dryer, we do have an electric airer/dryer.
