Less than a minute from the train station. Wonderful restaurants in town and a little mini grocery store. You can’t hear the train below if the window is closed, which was closed during my 2-night stay because it was chilly. Got a little cold at night but they had an extra blanket that I was able to use and they have 2 extra pillows in a little closet. The bed is not very comfortable, super hard.. other than that, all was well!
Daria's place was the perfect getaway for a few nights in Vernazza! Her assistant met me at the train station and guided me to the apartment (and carried my heavy bag - the apartment is VERY close though, so don't worry if you have a lot of luggage, you'll only have to manage a couple flights of stairs). It was cute, clean, and just as described. I highly recommend it! I visited several of the other towns of Cinque Terre and was glad I chose to stay in Vernazza (beautiful ocean with small beach, plenty of waterfront restaurants, great shopping, short hikes to get beautiful views overlooking the town).
The location was right in the center of Vernazza and extremely close to the train station. If you are looking for a quiet little room for the night this one is a good choice. The bed was pretty comfortable although the room was kind of hot with no AC and the ceiling fan didn't work. One warning would be if you have bad knees or problems with stairs this room was three flights up. Then again if you have knee problems you probably shouldn't go to somewhere this hilly haha.
