AVAILABLE ONLY JUNE 12-JULY 7: FULL 2 WEEK MINIMUM REQUIRED
Lovely 1-bedroom apartment (1000 sq. ft. ) is 4 minutes from the freeway, yet has the hush of nature. Striking view of beloved Mt. Tam. Sit on the intimate covered deck enjoying her through the trees.
Apartment has 2 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, a loft office with desk (and view!), a double bed with the view, wi-fi, 50" HDTV, DVD, and quiet neighbors. I'm an artist who likes plants, so there's plenty of both (art not artists!). I do request that you water the plants at least once a week. This is not a slick rental unit. It's a living home.

Stroll Corte Madera Creek just below, and hike and bike all over the county. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, and tennis courts right out the door. 5 minute drive into the charming town of Larkspur, with its own redwood canyon and trails up the mountain. Supermarket, fine coffee and more at the base of the hill. 5 minute drive to the Larkspur ferry into San Francisco, or 12 minutes to the Golden Gate Bridge into the city. A half hour and you're in Wine Country...or Berkeley!

I rent my place each time I travel, with glowing responses, but mainly through a different site over the last 9 years. Here's what a renter wrote after his first day here: "I'm still getting used to the house and the area. Kind of too good to be true:)."
Quiet enough to keep the neighbors happy. Need to water the plants at least once a week. Leave the place in good shape, a little dirtier but none the worse for wear!
I'm a retiree sculpting in clay as my main pursuit. As I said in my rental description, art is a big part of my life, so my condo is full of art. I also love nature, so there are plants inside, and looking outside there are great views of the beautiful landscape I live in and thrive on, highlighted by Mt. Tamalpais, or Mt.Tam.
The people I've rented to have always been positive and respectful. I like to think we've mirrored each other that way. They've unanimously appreciated their stay here, as I do.
