WELCOME to our work in progress. A few years ago we decided to move west of Washington, DC to enjoy having more space and to take ownership of a historic hamlet. We've been renovating as we go but keeping the character of the place is very important to us. Fixing up our historic place is an ongoing labor of love. We know what it's like to long for a weekend away and will do our best to make sure you enjoy yourself. I'm a historian and can help you with a Civil War trip, or a desire to see the old places in our neighborhood. Bill's an expert on our local food, wine and beer. We will be glad to give you ideas for a great few days. We can be social or not - it is totally up to you.
We've had some great Airbnb experiences when traveling, and we hope to provide the same for our guests.
