About the security deposit.
There is a security deposit of up to £750 when you book this property. This doesn't mean that you will be charged this on booking. And it most likely is a charge that will never be made. It simply means that if a guest destroys the property then I can ask Airbnb to mediate a claim against the guest up to this amount to remedy any damages.
In reality, in my bookings, this charge has NEVER been relevant and has NEVER been charged. It is simply something that Airbnb advise hosts to have.
I hope this explain matters sufficiently. If not you might want to look at:-
The main rules are feel welcome, relax and enjoy... mi casa es su casa.
The only 'please do nots' are... please do not use the fireplace as the chimney hasn't been prepped for fires and please do not park immediately outside the property as all the spaces are allocated. Free parking is available on the lane called 'Lower Back Way' which is just 2 minutes walk from the cottage. Oh, I guess... please try not to break anything or disturb the neighbours with noise.
You will find a very comfortable covered smoking area outside immediately beside the front door so... no smoking in doors.
