Gelegen in het midden van een 2 hectare grote kokosnootboomgaard, is een bungalow met 3 slaapkamers, gebaseerd op het ontwerp van de architect Charles Correa.  1 uur rijden/veerboot van Mumbai. Onze gasten zijn losgekoppeld van de stad en aansluiten op de natuur - de golven, vogels, wuivende palmbomen en gouden zonsondergangen. Gerund door Rohan & Jharna, die naar hun 80 jaar oude biologische boerderij zijn verhuisd voor zijn rust en privacy, laten zien hoe het mogelijk is om duurzaam van het land te leven en je uit te nodigen om een gelijkwaardige deelnemer te zijn. Firefly kijkt uit vanaf een groene en beboste heuvel over de rivier Revdanda naar de zee. Mijn liefde voor het uitzicht, de eenvoudige charmes van het landelijke Maharashtra en de constante bries inspireerden me om Firefly te ontwerpen als een grote open gezellige ruimte, die de natuur omarmt, maar nooit zonder comfort is. Vullen van een met vreugde en haar rust. Firefly heeft onze kinderen in de loop der jaren zien opgroeien en veel plezier en gelach met familie en vrienden. Boerderij in de buurt van Alibag met privézwembad

Dit is al meer dan twee decennia ons tweede huis voor onze familie en een die we uit het niets tot leven hebben zien komen. Gelegen op een rustieke boerderij van 5 hectare met een rivulet die langs het pand loopt (helaas alleen in de moesson), is Rashmi Farms een geweldige plek om los te koppelen van de stad (hoewel we wifi hebben als je moet werken). Je kunt genieten van wandelingen rond de boerderij en nabijgelegen dorpen, een duik in het zwembad of gewoon je voeten ophangen met een boek. Dit alles op slechts 2,5 uur rijden van Mumbai.
