Canal access to Halls River & Homosassa River for flats boats or pontoon boats only. Must be able to lower bimini to go under Halls River Bridge. Property includes three kayaks and one canoe.

The Lakeside River House

The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

Our original 1970’s cabin sits on the historic Withlacoochee River with breathtaking views. Nothing fancy but very comfortable and clean. Quiet and relaxing. A perfect place to recharge your spirit. Welcome to Rainbow Cove Cabin, a private oasis nestled in a quiet cove away from much of the tubing traffic on the Rainbow River but only seconds to the open Rainbow River with the kayaks included in your rental. You can also bring your boat and tie to our private dock and enjoy the 5.7 miles of pristine crystal clear Rainbow River. Although not a direct view of Rainbow River, our beautiful private waterfront cove directly adjoins Rainbow River for a memorable vacation.

It is just a mile from Rainbow River and is ideally suited to guests who want to golf, fish, bike, or enjoy water sports, as well as those who want to nature watch. Only 20 miles to WEC (World Equestrian Center). Includes two parking spaces and a boat slip. Boat launch across the river.

Or hang out at the private park, swim, fish or just relax. Five minute walk to the private 3 acre park from my place or jump on the golf cart and cruise down. FREE use of the kayaks, golf cart and paddle boards during your stay.
