Whaletown Lagoon Floathouse

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.

Elf Cup Cottage on the beach

Located on your own beach, the Elf Cup Cottage is a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the majestic views of the Sutil Channel with Cortes Island and the Tantulas mountain range as a backdrop. The Sutil channel, with its nutrient rich water is home to Humpback whales, Killer whales, sea lions and of course a curious harbour seal that calls our beach home. All this can be watched from your own private terrace overlooking the beach.

Your remote and rustic retreat awaits! Nestled amongst the tall evergreen trees overlooking the emerald shores of Granite Bay. Whether you want to indulge in the physical pursuits this area has to offer or you just want to relax and unwind-this place is for you. The area is surrounded by numerous hiking trails and is known for a great place to launch your ocean kayaks or cuddle up listening to the sounds of nature.

A pacific northwest gem! Our family beach house is front row overlooking a rocky beach and mainland mountains. Our ocean view is great for bird and wildlife watching (popular channel for whale commuting as well as the salmon capital of the world). We're close to the Kay Dubois trail which my Grampa made and named after my grandma.
