Studio Guest Suite in Forest Cottage

Embrace the peacefulness of the Carolina Foothills in this ground level unit. The private apartment features natural stone walls, exposed wood beams, touches of color, tasteful furnishings, high-end decor, and a first floor walkout. The view out of the large windows is trees and forest which contributes to a feeling of being utterly surrounded by nature. We are located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains--the peaks are close, but cannot be seen from the apartment. We live above, and are very quiet and low key--you may hear the occasional few footsteps or running water. Events and photo shoots are not allowed. Canebrake Road is a graveled country lane with curves. Our house is at the top of the lane on the left--the entrance to the driveway is manned by a cement sheep sporting the house number around his neck, and is officially .56 miles from the beginning of Canebrake Road. Fork left into our driveway. At night, aim for the streetlight atop our garage. The kitchenette has all you need for quick and easy meals. Fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, (if requested), coffee maker, full sink and complete dishware. The living area has a smart TV, books, cards, games, and magazines to keep you occupied in the evening hours. The studio is very spacious, and if you have a child, the sofa will suffice, or we can provide a small cot. The surrounding woods are peaceful and enveloping--conducive to long and restful sleeps. The calls of birds and katy-dids are just about all that you may hear.... Guests can park up in the top driveway area, where it is easier to maneuver, or directly in front of the apartment. The apartment is very private and secluded from the main house entrances. We are in the house attached, and can answer any questions you may have. We leave you to your independence, or will socialize if it is appropriate. You are the guests and the time here belongs to you.... The apt sits at the top of a small hill, reached by a curved gravel lane and is less than 5 minutes from both downtown Tryon and Columbus, home to a number of shops, restaurants, art galleries, movie theatre and more. The Tryon International Equestrian Center is just 15 minutes away and Harmon Field, an athletic complex, is located at the beginning of our road. In summer, our neighbor's homes are invisible. The location is private and serene. A car is mandatory. We have a nice walking circuit, right out the front door, which takes you through the woods. Harmon Field is a 2 minute walk down the lane, with multiple sports amenities and the Pacolet River to walk along.

Quiet Guest Suite 10 Min to TIEC, Gated Community

Retreat to a peaceful getaway in a "small-town friendly" hidden gem of Western North Carolina. Unwind at the firepit, gaze at the twinkling constellations from the upper deck, or sit and relax in our clean and private guest suite. Enjoy the luxury of being close to the action but far from the crowd in this cozy guest suite. Horse Show destination! 10 min to Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) & 26 min to Tryon. Peaceful and secluded in a gated community on the banks of the Green River.

Gwennie's Getaway

This space is in the lower level of our home. Your private entrance is on the backside of the house. Outdoor stairs will take you to lower level. We are a 5 minute drive to downtown Tryon. The neighborhood is quiet and has a calming effect. You will be surrounded by nature. We are about 45 minutes to Greenville; 30 minutes to Hendersonville and 1 hour to Asheville. Attractions in the area include several vineyards; Tryon International Equestrian Center; FENCE & Harmon Field to name a few.

Suite Magnolia

This is a suite with its own private entrance. The neighborhood is quiet, and the town quaint and friendly. Cross the bridge, and you enter your private 600 sq ft abode. Luxuriate in the clawfoot tub. Indulge in a local restaurant or enjoy a home cooked meal. Have a sip, sitting on your own private deck and meditate on the view of the woods. Coffee and tea is always available. Fresh fruit is provided for those staying 2 or more nights. Space is cleaned, sheets laundered after each guest.

Peace/Quiet or fun close by TIEC

Cabin is good after Helene. But the water washed away access to the river basin. We welcome you to stay. We are blessed that's all that happened to us. Priv 2/1, 1200 sq ft on LOWER LEVEL of log cabin on Green River, 3 mi TIEC, 20 min to towns, vineyards, FENCE, and restaurants. Full kitchen, Fireplace & private deck. You can do a lot or just relax in the hammock under the trees. 30 min to Lake Lure, 45 min. to Asheville. or antiquing. Parks for hiking close by. 4 Wineries within 8 miles.

Amazing Lake Adger Getaway The Water is OPEN!

Enjoy this lovely retreat RIGHT ON THE LAKE. The Lake is beautiful, with Kayaking, Fishing, Hiking, and new restaurants. Daily events at TIEC. Wineries, Gardens, and many Festivals are going on. Lots of wildlife to see, Eagles, deer, lots of songbirds that visit daily. Relax and enjoy the view. This 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom with a full kitchen is a wonderful escape from the city. The Garden level of the house and deck are for your enjoyment—separate stairs to your private entrance and patio.

Forget your worries in this spacious & serene, 572 sq. ft. suite. After entering the foyer of the house, you'll ascend an interior stairway leading to your private suite entrance with a keypad lock. You'll enjoy a bedroom with Q bed, living room, & large bathroom w/2 vanities. There is a private pool on property, onsite parking, & access to Lake Adger marina a short drive away. Lake Lure is 10 min, Chimney Rock is 15 min, & TIEC is 15 min. Enjoy 14 miles of hiking trails from the house.
