Come stay at our small homestead in this 1974 Airstream. This cute, clean camper is set next to our paddock with ducks, chickens, a few roosters (they will crow a lot), sometimes goats/horses, and our large dogs (they will bark). We are in the county, so we have a slightly rural feel and are a short haul from downtown (13 mi.) and the airport (17 mi.). Beautiful walk to the river (1 mi.). Come and go as you please. This is NOT a luxurious, quiet retreat, but it is a safe, unique and happy one!

Private courtyard and private gated parking with opener. 2.7 miles to Balloon Fiesta Park; watch balloons land in the adjacent field during Balloon Fiesta. Shop & dine nearby yet located in a quiet country setting near walking paths in the Rio Grande Bosque. Hidden behind adobe walls, this house is a New Mexico classic, with brick floors, beam ceilings and stained glass. The large bedroom, which features a gas fireplace, looks out onto a private garden. A second large shaded yard offers multiple options for outdoor dining. It's 3.5 miles to Old Town Albuquerque, 2 miles to the trails of the Rio Grande Nature Center and about an hour to Santa Fe. Cozy up by the gas fireplace in the winter and relax on the shady patio in the summer.

The bedroom includes a new queen sized bed and there is a fold out queen sized foam mattress in the living room as well. The dining room table seats four. The back porch is a a little oasis where you can enjoy a quiet moment or meal. Larger groups may book the house next door as well.

The Blue Door

The Blue Door Suite in Albuquerque’s far north valley sits separately inside a one hundred year old adobe home. Guests have a private entrance into a cozy yard with large shade trees, an herb garden and seating for dining, morning coffee, or just relaxing. The Blue Door is next to a clean working farm, so you can often hear the roosters and goats singing their songs.
