This farm runs sheep & cattle, therefore shearing, lambing, weaning, drenching, draughting, training sheep dogs & horses, are operating throughout the year. Situated on a hilltop with magnificent all-round views of North Canterbury farmland, Gore Bay and the distant Kaikoura ranges, this new self-contained house resides on a small scale organic vegetable farm. This characterful and supremely comfortable abode is double-glazed with a plush 3-seater lounge for taking in the views. On a farm but just a few mins off SH1 and from the beach. Simple yet cosy & comfortable and loved by our family. Ideal for time out, wedding accommodation or a stop over. Handy to local wedding venue 4km away. We can do a drop-off to weddings. Just $100 for 1 person (except peak season), thereafter each person is $45 pp and children $40 (we adjust once booked). Prices are intentionally kept low so anyone can come here. No wifi in this building, however, there is from our nearby.

Spectacular views over the ocean and plenty of room to turn a boat. We are an hour north of Christchurch, 30min from the Hurunui Mouth taking the scenic route and close to great local wineries. Beach access is 2km from the cottage. Guests are welcome to walk in our gully or interact with our alpacas.
