The Glen Alps/Flattop Trailhead is 1 mile up the road and provides easy access to amazing hiking, mountain biking, snow shoeing, climbing, and skiing adventures. Enjoy the unobstructed views of Denali/Mt. McKinley, “Sleeping Lady” (Mount Susitna), and the Anchorage skyline from 1600ft elev.

Forest Yurt

Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Enjoy the hot tub, collect fresh chicken eggs, and breathe forest air!

This Two Bedroom plus Loft (please read additional information for loft) is situated 1 block from the world famous Tony Knowles Coastal Trail that hugs the coastline of the Cook Inlet with beautiful views of the water, Anchorage skyline with moose and other Alaska animals that live in the area. Grocery stores and restaurants are just a few minutes away.

Fiddlehead Yurts

We are not your average getaway. Hidden in the rainforest canopy, spend the afternoon grilling on the porch while watching the eagles fly to and from their nest above the yurt. When your ready to wind down listen to the owls hoot around the fire ring while watching the sunset from exit glacier.
