Enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine on custom made furniture stationed right outside your door! Located 15 minutes from local beaches & only 30 min from either Coos Bay or Florence.

Sunny Peaceful Ocean Cottage

At the end of the road, this comfortable home offers solitude and a charming hobbit path to beautiful Heceta Beach. It's a great place for family fun or a romantic get-away. Well stocked for cooking and kicking back. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are in an open loft (with an enclosed bathroom dividing the two spaces. NOTE: We still allow pets, but have had numerous problems with irresponsible dog owners. Well-behaved dogs and owners who take responsibility for their pets are welcome.

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Easy walk to Bay Street and all the charm, great eats and fun that Old Town Florence offers! Stroll to the Exploding Whale Memorial Park in moments, walk along the sandy river "beach" and through its magical forest, as you look across at the Oregon dunes that inspired the book and movie series, "Dune". A large grocery store is close by, too. Breathe the air and relax!

Bright and open while being cozy and comfortable all at the same time. This guest suite offers you your own private entrance, kitchenette, king size bed and southern exposure with ocean views. Here you'll find The Carriage House, an enchanted cottage with views of tiny Dragons Cove, Laughing Gull Island, and the majestic Perpetua headland, highest point on the Oregon coast.
