Darbys pub 5 mins , great restaurants nearby Glyde Annagason, Pizzeria Clogherhead, Seapoint golf club restaurant. nearest towns Dunleer, Clogherhead and Drogheda great pubs and night life. Fantastic historical walks and drives, great place to base yourself for touring around. Sea swimming at salterstown pier.

Buttercup Cottage is an idyllic thatched cottage situated in the lovely seaside village of Clogherhead on the east coast of Ireland, forty minutes north of Dublin airport. Renovated and extended, Buttercup cottage provides 3 bedroom 2 bathroom accommodation, perfect for a holiday getaway. It is just 400 yards from the beach, perfect for swimming or kayaking. If you feel energetic enough you can walk over the head to the harbour, where fresh fish is for sale , or just meander along the beach.
