Peaceful cottage

A typically cosy cottage, in Normandy, comfortably furnished, with a log burning stove. Outside is a small garden with south facing terrace. Set in a rural location it is tranquil and calm. It is located above a small town with all amenities. It is ideally placed for visiting town, coast, country, historical sites, castles, markets, taste seafood, cheeses and don’t forget to sample locally produced cider. Solitude or tourist attractions: there is something for everyone of all ages and interests.

One bedroom cottage set in landscaped gardens close to the A84 including kitchen/sitting room, laundry room with downstairs WC, private terrace, balcony with magnificent view of Mont St Michel. Not more than 2 hours from the ports of Le Havre, Cherbourg, Ouistreham and St Malo and ideal staging post to explore the Normandy landing beaches, Bayeux, Mont St Michel and the Cotentin coast. Close to the historic town of Avranches and commercial centres with a wide choice of restaurants and shops.

Vrijgelegen huisje op privéterrein: 100% privacy

Mijn vrijgelegen huisje ligt op het platteland van Normandië op een volledig privéterrein van 8000m2 met een eigen oprijlaan van 200m. Het afgelegen huis heeft geen buren. Je bent 100% alleen en op jezelf in de enorme tuin met fruit- en notenbomen. Direct vanaf de oprit kun je het landschap en de charmante dorpjes verkennen. Het huis ligt niet ver van de stranden, nationale parken, kastelen en middeleeuwse steden. Het charmante huisje is zeer geschikt voor liefhebbers van natuur en rust.

Set within a large private mature garden which is fully enclosed the cottage features a really comfortable interior making it the ideal place to visit all year round. Close to must see destinations such as Mont St Michel, St Malo, Cancale, Dinan, Rennes and the Normandy Beaches and war Memorials it is ideally located to explore everything that's on offer in this area of Brittany and Normandy.
