Outdoors it boasts a lovely campfire area, a patio table and a large grass yard. Enjoy our gardens in the summer and our laying hens year-round. Take a 5 min stroll down a wooded path to the lakefront where you will find another campfire pit, a dock, a canoe and SUP to use and plenty of space for activities year-round.

Our house has all the comforts of home with beautiful open vistas visible out each window. This property was deeded to the Motherwell family following the War of 1812, staying in their family name 100 years. The interior of the house is fully renovated with some exterior projects ongoing. A 2-3 min walk to the water and to the general store, Brown's Marina, Lockmaster Museum, the Cataraqui Trail, Dorothy's Lodge and the Opinicon Resort. Your host also operates Rideau Tours and offers bike, kayak, canoe and stand-up paddleboard rentals onsite.
