Game rm w futon, pool table, TV, bar stools, laundry, dining seats 8. This cabin is decorated perfectly.

Hiker's Retreat Cabin

Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

When Tent Camping is just too exhausting

Basic mini-cabins are a step up from tents - basic shelter w/screened windows (no glass) and a screen door. These get cold at night like a tent. This cabin we call "Definitely Not the Ritz" features 3 beds with only a bottom sheet that sleep 4. There's a small nightstand a couple chairs, that's it. This is *almost roughing it*, but we won't spoil your stories if you tell your friends you actually were roughing it. Sleeping bags/blankets, towels/other toiletries are guest's responsibility.

This creekside Cabin (300sqft) escape is a STUDIO nestled in the forest but with all the city amenities. You can enjoy the seasonal heated swimming pool at Sierra Sky Lodge. Hiking, lake swimming and exploring is a beautiful 20 minute drive to the Gold Lakes Basin area. 5 Fantastic golf courses are just 15-30 minutes away. So much to do in our rural area and come back to our peaceful hideaway.
