We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. Its nestled in the woods where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest but is still in close proximity to hiking, biking, cross country ski trails, and Marquette Mountain for downhill skiing and all Marquette has to offer. It is approximately 3 miles from the snowmobile trail and can be accessed using Green Garden Road. A very easy ride to the trail.

The Sugar Shack

Hidden in the foothills of the Huron Mountains, you will be in close proximity to our best hiking trails, waterfalls and beaches. A compliment to our Lodge, the River Cabin is located on the same property as the Lodge along the Michigamme River. The Cabin is a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath and features an outdoor firepit along with a river pier and a private dock and sauna on Juncob Lake.
