Little Haven is an official 28-acre wildlife preserve and family farm 6 miles north of Wimberley. We manage the land for song birds, owls and other raptors. We have horses, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. There are three miles of trails for hiking and exploring. The sunsets are amazing, and star gazing is some of the best in Texas (Wimberley is one of only three certified "Dark Sky" cities in Texas). Welcome to Vesper Lodge. Nestled in the rugged Texas land of Wimberley with the prettiest view. The lodge has been lovingly restored to be comfortably chic. Spacious enough for a large group but charming for a writer's solitude. The sunsets and night skies are what drew us here. They bring pink-cotton-candy clouds. Then the sun crowns the valley hills in mauve until the stars begin to make themselves visible. Slowly, a few at a time, until the entire sky is covered in brilliant stardust.

"The Outhouse" is part of "A Country Place" on 5 acres in the country but minutes from Wimberley. The Outhouse is a quaint little cabin equipped w/ an efficiency kitchen, queen bed, recliner, TV, & small table. Step out back door to a private screened-in porch w/ your own hot tub. Step out onto another covered deck w/ table & chairs & bar-b-q pit. Right off this deck is a rock fire pit. There are other cabins but each placed for maximum privacy! Listed "No Wi-Fi" because it is spotty!
