De rangschikking op het Netwerk van co-hosts

Co-Host Network uses an algorithm to help hosts find co-hosts that offer services that are most relevant to the host. Hosts enter an address or location and the algorithm returns co-hosts that are part of the Co-Host Network, with an aim of displaying the most relevant results for that host. Be sure to also check out the Co-Host Network Terms for more information.

Factors that influence search results

The algorithm considers many factors to determine how to order search results, but some factors have a larger impact than others. In particular, the quality, the services provided, and the service area of a co-host heavily influence where a specific co-host appears in search results. The algorithm also encourages variety within search results—so that hosts are presented with co-hosts that may offer different benefits to a host.

Quality

The algorithm assesses many characteristics to evaluate co-host services types and co-host’s hosting quality, including ratings and reviews, and types of listings with which the co-host is associated. Higher quality co-hosts with better ratings and reviews tend to rank higher.

Engagement

The algorithm evaluates engagement with a co-host using a wide range of information, including how hosts engage with the co-host’s services profile. For example, host engagement with a co-host profile includes how frequently the profile is viewed by prospective hosts. Co-hosts with more engagement tend to rank higher in search.

Location

The searched location has a large impact on how the co-hosts appear in search results. For example, co-hosts who are closer to the search location tend to rank higher.

Host profile and listing information

To find co-hosts whose services may be more relevant to the host's needs, the algorithm takes into account the host’s history on the Airbnb platform, what type of listings they have, the location of their listings, and the hosting quality, such as reviews, ratings, and superhost status.

Note: Our ranking algorithms will evolve over time to reflect changes to our business and technology, in our community, and around the world.
