Hillside's Rest Nest

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

The apartment (75 km2) is located in a 19th century house 5mins walk from the Old Town. The windows face the picturesque Castle Park (Cēsu Pils parks). The place has a bedroom, a combined kitchen-living room and a veranda that offers a romantic sunset view. (Veranda is warm only May–>Sept). Wooden floors. Central heating. A cosy, just renovated apartment now is available for comfortable stay! It is located 15 min walking from Cesis Castle on the 5th floor with the view over Cesis city. It is a family property furnished with everything for comfy stay and will be very attractive for cooking lovers. It also has got balcony- for having a morning coffee (in warm season). Welcome to discover the UNESCO heritage building in the center of Riga in a safe part of the city. A historic building of 1909 built by famous Latvian art-nouveau architect E. Laube. Modern and cosy flat on the 6th floor with a sunny terrace and a stunning view. It's located 20 min on foot from the Old Town, 15 min from the Central Market .You have all the facilities nearby including gym, grocery store & french boulangerie "Cadets de Gascogne" in 2min walk.

Modern renovated flat in historical building.

Modern apartment in a historic building from 1912. Riga is considered the Art Nouveau capital of Northern Europe. Here you can not only find many buildings with stunningly beautiful facades, but also live in one of them. The apartment is located 25 minutes walk from the Old Town and a few minutes walk from the famous Kalnciema quarter Public transport stops are right next to the house, which gives a certain noise. Please pay attention for this.
