The Bruny Boathouse is nestled on the waterfront with panoramic views across d'Entrecasteaux Channel, Satellite Island & Hartz Mountain propped up in the background. Centrally located in the township of Alonnah on the western side of Bruny Island, The Boathouse is an ideal place to base yourself for everything that Bruny has to offer. The Hide - Private Waterfront Bruny Island.

Experience the feeling of calm when you turn onto the winding private road that takes you to The Hide. Surrounded by forest, and set on the waterfront, the Hide provides an elegant refuge for couples. In a national park like setting and situated centrally, it is the perfect base for exploring popular Bruny Island. With so much to do on the property, as well as wider afield, we recommend a 2-3 night stay if you can fit it into your schedule.

Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter.
