Our cottage is set in the corner of a 100 acre mostly wooded tract in rural Floyd County. The site is open, but surrounded by mature trees. You will enjoy the quiet private setting. Our cottage is good for couples and small families. The Town of Floyd, six miles away, hosts restaurants, a coffee shop, and gift shops. The Floyd Country Store hosts the renowned Friday Night Jamboree featuring local bluegrass, while other restaurants host a variety of music on weekends and during the week.

A charming getaway for one or two! Listen to the sounds of the river in your rustic cozy cabin nestled in the woods near the Little River. Full size bed, porch with rockers, outhouse, fire circle, and riverside with hammock, yoga/meditation pavilion, labyrinth, kayaks, swimming and more. Hotplate, coffee pot, mini fridge, water dispensers, fan and space heater provided! Shower and hot tub at the main house and summertime river kitchen/showers available - no running water in the cabin!

This is a unique and unforgettable experience. All proceeds support Apple Ridge Farm, a non-profit that "Helps Kids Grow!". This rental is Pet Friendly with a $25 per pet fee.

Max's House- Cozy Home on BRParkway Farm

Great location just 1/2 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway at MP 152. Surrounded by open fields, mountain vistas abound. This home has been lived in and gently loved for many years. There is one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. An extra cot is available. Fully equipped kitchen! Great for families and a long stay. Guests are invited to join us when feeding the farm animals (alpacas, llamas, Highland cattle, Jacob sheep and angora goats) each morning. Fun!

Modern Cabin w/ Hot Tub - Romantic Retreat

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023). For larger groups, check out the guest house next door (Airbnb: Guest House on Homestead near Floyd/Blacksburg). ~10 miles to Floyd, ~20 miles to Blacksburg, ~35 miles to Roanoke.

Escape to the mountains in a spacious, luxury cabin sitting high atop a ridge on 13 private acres. Enjoy a hike on one of the property's nature trails or relax on the deck or in the hot tub with a glass of wine. The cabin is close to the Blue Ridge parkway, Chateau Morrisette Winery and Villa Appalaccia Winery. Floyd, a darling town brimming with music, art, culture and great food, is a short drive away.

Cabin 2 at the Floyd EcoVillage

The "Rosemary" cabin offers 1 queen bed, 1 set of bunks, a kitchenette, and a private bathroom. The kitchen has all basic appliances except an oven and we supply minimal pots and pans and dishes for your convenience. There is a covered porch on the front. Pets are not allowed in the cabin.
