Proporcionaré todos los elementos necesarios y técnicas de la reutilización de elementos como el plástico, vidrio y metales. También podremos realizar artes con botellas, y materiales típicamente dominicanos. Podrás llevarte una linda decoración para tu hogar realizada por ti mism@!!

Mi madre lleva gran parte de su vida realizando artesanias totalmente recicladas y realizadas por ella, en nuestro hogar contamos con exibición de dichas decoraciones. Nos gusta conocer nuevas personas todo el mundo, hablar de nuestra cultura y comida, al mismo tiempo que vamos conociendo la tuya.

This would be a fun activity for a family or group of friends. I was the only one there so it was a little odd at times, especially when I was trying to get a conversation going by myself! Lihia was very nice and did her best to keep me cool with a fan and Delicious homemade lemonade. This experience takes place outside of the main part of the city so it was nice to see a different part of DR and not just la Zona Colonial. Communication was awkward as Lihia’s daughter runs the Airbnb page so at times I was communicating with two people. Lihia has a phone—it was dinging the entire time I was there—so it was odd she doesn’t run the page herself. The entire thing took two hours, not 3.5. I don’t know how “authentic” the craft I made was (I painted a plaster parrot) but I did learn some new art techniques, which was nice. Overall it was good, but the price seemed high for what it was.
