Wat je gaat doen

Let’s wear Kimono and experience Japanese “Days of Hare”!
In Japan, there is a kind of thinking called “Hare”.

It is a word that means not only sunny weather, but also special moments in life. For example, the following non-ordinary events are called “Hare”: seasonal festivals including New Year and Bon, and important ceremonies in life including graduation, coming-of-age celebration, wedding etc.

And the Kimono worn on “Days of Hare” is called the “Hare-gi (Hare dress)”. In old days, Japanese ordinarily wore Kimono, but these days most of them wear western-style clothes. However, “Kimono” is still a representative “Hare dress” for those “Days of Hare”. When people wear Kimono, they feel their backbone straight and refreshed. Kimono is something that makes you feel “It’s a special day!” Let’s get you dressed in Kimono, and feel the “Days of Hare”.

(Details):
We will explain the history of the Kimono, dress Kimono for you, and show you the manners when wearing Kimono
※ Only limited to women

It has been 20 years since I was first interested in Kimono. My interest prompted me to get a qualification as a professional Kimono dresser. Now, I am a volunteer for local communities and international exchange organizations and working as a dresser of Kimono including Ju-ni-hitoe and Yukata. My favorite time is when a guest from an overseas country puts on a kimono and shows a smile of satisfaction. I would like to show to the world how wonderful Kimono is. Please come to Akashi!
