When you come to the outdoor studio, the looms are prepared and ready to weave on. You’ll be able to choose colours and textures from a wide variety for your use. With a few brief instructions you’ll be weaving right away while learning about the “no rules, no mistakes “ of the SAORI philosophy.
By the end of the class you’ll have a beautiful weaving to take home with you!

No weaving experience is necessary. Ages 6+.

My weaving studio was the first Registered SAORI Weaving Studio in Canada and I have been sharing this style of weaving since 2007. I am a member of the SAORI Global Network based in Japan.

The workshop will be held outdoors, under canopies, in my studio in the woods on Salt Spring Island.

We were on Saltspring to celebrate our 50th birthday and decided to try a new experience. This exceeded our expectations and made us all want to weave some more. The time absolutely flew by and we all left feeling pride in our weaving. Terri’s teaching style was very much appreciated. We highly recommend it!
