Join a passionate wine guide on a small-group day trip to wine country from Seattle! We’ll pick you up from your Seattle accommodations in a luxury van - then we head for the hills!
First, check out thundering Snoqualmie Falls (the largest waterfall in the region) and enjoy a nature walk from the Upper Falls to the Lower Falls.
Next, head to a small, rural, family-run winery in the foothills of the Cascade mountains for a quiet (included) gourmet lunch and laid-back tastings.
A short drive farther - to Woodinville Wine Country - and it's on to two more small, well-loved boutique wineries for more tastings and a sipping lesson appropriate for all wine-lover experience levels. Our team likes to provide an overview of the diverse wines, wineries, and production methods available in the Pacific Northwest. We love to work with small, beautiful, delicious wine partners to keep your day peaceful, tasty, and without waiting in lines.
We’ll cater length and level of activity to the desires of the group. At the end of the day we’ll return you to your place in downtown Seattle!
Other things to note
- Even if you're the only person booking a trip date - join us! It's likely someone else is booked (that called us to book) instead of AirBNB.

A private tour with a super-smart sommelier-- wow! Stephanie was superb! We were picked up directly at our Airbnb and scurried off to the beautiful landscape outside of Seattle. The ride was comfortable, Stephanie guided us through the landscape and answered expertly our many questions about the region and wine in general. We both are professors, so we can be a little demanding in our questions. We drank a great espresso, hiked around the falls, and weathered the rain with gear from Stephanie. Our first wine-related stop was a small winery at Bill's home. In a word, incredible. He was warm, humble, and hospitable. We felt right at home as we tasted nearly 10 outstanding wines. Although the lunch was tasty, we were expected a hot meal prepared on site by a chef (due to the price of the tour and the characterization as a "gourmet lunch." We both are foodies). Our second stop also had a cast of characters and some tasty wine. The winemaker/owner was gracious enough to play guitar for us (Dylan's "Bucket of Rain" amped through the winery and despite a neighbor's ire due to sound). Finally, we stopped at our third destination with the most energetic young woman, a culinary graduate, who poured some delicious wines. The winemaker also joined us and shared one of his personal favorites. Overall, a lovely day.

We went with Alex for our Snoqualmie Falls/wine tasting tour. We were two people in a ten person group. We had a great time with everyone! Alex was a very patient tour guide as we always seemed to stay a little past our time and want to drink more wine at each stop. Lunch was great and the cookies later were even better!

Kevin and Jan were great as the trip was very enjoyable and well worth it. Kevin was very knowledgable, personable and ensured that we had a great experience. Jan was shadowing for the day and we were glad she was there as well - very personable and made us feel right at home. The lunch was great and the selected wine tastings were excellent. We truly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it, especially to those not familiar with the area and all the wineries that abound.

I’m so glad I booked this experience. Great way to spend my last day in Seattle before boarding my red eye flight back East. The small group environment is a great way to keep everyone on schedule and allows even extra time to add one more winery to the tour. Stephanie was an absolute joy. Cheers to everyone at Evergreen
