We will speak in Greek about topics that refer to greek culture and reality. It is an alternative lesson. You will have the opportunity to practice your greek knowledge and to understand deeper the language and the culture of the country that you are visiting! If you are a beginner you will learn some basics that you need while travelling in Greece. You will come in contact with authentic material while learning, like videos, images, texts, etc. Additionally you will have the opportunity to meet the life of a local and talk about life in Athens and in Greece. This is the cultural exchange part. All this procedure accompanied by Greek coffee and nice mood!

If you want to practice your Greek with an experienced in teaching native speaker and have some conversation about different topics (depending on your level) based on various authentic materials (video, image, text), then just participate in my activity!!!
I have an MSc in computational linguistics, MA in didactics of German as a foreign language, many years (18) of experience in teaching foreign languages but also great experience in learning foreign languages.
We will speak in Greek, learn about greek music, Greek food, tradition, mythology, etc, while drinking greek coffee! Enjoy!

Greek lesson in the luxury of my living room!!! This takes place in a cosy and artistic apartment in the center of Athens. The place is designed for giving a lesson!

I do not know if such a Greek language-related experience should be pleasant or informative or original... It was all of the above, and more. You can tell Sofia is right up there with the best of them. The one thing you need to do is let Sofia know what your interests and level are, so she can come up with the most appropriate approach to accomodate your goals and expectations.
