We are taking around old-town in Busan where some of old buildings still are in
The first destination is the Busan Modern History Museum(BMHM). During the way to the museum, you can see the old buildings and small shops in many narrow alleys
BMHM is built in 1929. It is a very important historical heritage and keeps the history of Korea after 1876 opening port. You can see how Korea and Busan has been changed for about 100 years in the museum
The second spot is the Bosu-dong book street which has been maintained since 1950. Many of Busan citizens have own childhood memories related to the book street
This book street is very narrow about 2.5M and many book stores are located on the street. This place is unusual that you might be meet some old brown books like a treasure
The next place is Kukje Market and Nampo-dong shopping street. The places are traditional Korean markets and you can meet very various generation people. Also there is almost everything in the market which are tools, fashion, food, stuff you need
After then, we are moving to a cafe ‘Caffeinated’ near Nampo-dong. The cafe serves old style Korean coffee ‘Gabae’ and breads from the oldest bakerly ‘Baekgudang’ in Busan
The end of this tour is sightseeing an event lifting up a part of the Yeongdo-Bridge at the observation platform on the top of the Gwangbok Lotte Department Store.
