Wat je gaat doen

We will bake traditional shortcrust pastries "Genovesi ericine" with lemon pastry cream and ricotta and chocolate chips. These pastries were made by Erice nuns once. All the while we'll be chatting about local culture, traditions, things to do and places to visit. Once ready we will have the pastries still warm with tea or coffee. And at the end, each of you will take away a printed recipe and a box of pastries made by yourself.

I moved here 10 years ago for love, and fell in love with Trapani and Erice. Since I was little sugar and flour held special place in my heart. I always loved baking cakes and making desserts, and about two and a half years ago I decided to specialise in becoming a qualified pastry chef and a baker, so I attended various international courses keeping on practicing in my kitchen everyday.

My wife, 10 year old and myself took Natalia’s course and had a wonderful time. Not only did she teach us how to make some delicious traditional cookies, but we “got our hands dirty” and learned through experience. She made all of us feel very welcome in her home as well. This is the type of experience/class that will keep me coming back. She is very talented and friendly as well. We had a wonderful morning with her and take home the knowledge (and recipe) to make these delicious genovese erice at home! Thank you Natalia for a wonderful 5-Star experience!!

My mother and I really enjoyed this experience. She gave us a thorough history of what we were making and she was very personable. She was kind and allowed us to make mistakes in a great environment (we are not that great at baking). Overall a wonderful experience, a highlight of our trip!

We had a really positive experience making pastries with Natalia. We enjoyed cooking and talking. Natalia was very friendly and passionate about cooking. She packed up our left over pastries in lovely boxes to take home which was a really nice special touch.
