Soy Fernanda una publicista que vive en Santo Domingo desde el 2011.

Desde el 2014 junto a mis amigos hemos recorrido el 96% de bares en la zona colonial buscando diversidad, funciones de música, danza y las buenas vibras de la gente en un ambiente amistoso,relajado, cómodo y seguro. Creo que la luces y la noche hacen que la ciudad se vea totalmente distinta. Esta es una forma única de mezclarse con locales y compartir la tarde al Dominican style.

In the begging we will meet up in a Bar to pick a beer and walk the street,(O sure in Dominican you are allowed drink in public while you walk.) while I share some tips about Living in the Caribbean !

Then we go to the top 5 places that was first established in America. taking picture and post it is awesome, Dont you be shy.

Then We finish en last bar which as a nice yard, refreshing all we need after a sunny, walking day.

Had a great time with Fernanda and her friend. She was very knowledgeable on the history of Santo Domingo. She was very friendly and warm and made the experience a great one. Thanks Fernanda, hope to see you again!!

Loved the experience, I have stayed in the Colonial Zone many times, but Fernada took me around like a local and revealed many hidden gems and great places to hangout. I highly recommend this experience to get a taste of the culture.

For anyone who travels to Santo Domingo, I HIGHLY recommend this experience - it felt like a true immersion into Dominican Culture. For starters, Fernanda is absolutely lovely. I also feel that the bar scene in Santo Domingo is very lively but might be difficult to navigate alone - Fernanda works with you to feel out the vibe and take you where you'd want to go. By the end of the night we felt like old friends. Be ready to dance all night!

Good experience. Definitely tailored to young adults. My son, who is 31, had a ball. The area to meet was crowed, which made it difficult to find the host. Otherwise, no complaints. The host sent a note later after we parted to make sure everyone arrived safely to their locations.
