Are you a recent pu-erh convert or oolong fanatic? Japanese green tea enthusiast? All of the above? This is the tea tasting experience for you! This course is specifically for tea lovers who want to go more in-depth into a specific category of tea. In the 75-minute course we'll choose a few of teas from our collection for a tasting custom-tailored to your interest and taste. We'll talk brewing techniques, tea processing, terroir, contextual tradition, and most importantly, enjoy drinking fine tea together. I am the procurement director and head of tea tenders at Teance Fine Teas. I have spent years traveling around the world, visiting tea gardens and learning about the ancient art of artisan tea. I specialize in teaching classes on white, green, oolong, pu-erh, and herbal teas from China, Taiwan, India, Japan, and locally. I also incorporate mindfulness practices, understanding the health benefits fo tea, and expert brewing techniques into my experiences. Participants leave my class knowing more about the culture, history, and joy of tea than most ever understand.
