Wat we gaan doen

Every great ride starts over coffee! We'll meet at one of my favorite spots to check out the maps and route profiles to help find our perfect climbs! From there we'll head out to ride the spectacular hills of the South Bay. I ride them all the time and you can expect to get 3,000 - 5,000 feet of vertical over 40 miles, lots of coaching, and three or four hours of fun!

I recommend you have some fitness! Whichever climbs we choose, it's a vertical day. Bring your own bike. Helmet, pump and tube req'd!

Snacks
I have Clif products for the ride! Clif Shots, Clif Blox, and hydration mix for the bottles. If you have a favorite, bring it along!
Drankjes
I'll get the coffee and carbs! The Green Bakery has a great selection of pastries and coffee. I personally love their chocolate croissant the most

Road Bike in good working order. 50x34 front rings and an 11-28 Cassette recommended
Helmet
Two large water bottles
A light vest for descending (possibly arm warmers too)

Waar je zult zijn

There are dozens of great climbs. Among the most infamous local test pieces are Norton-Kittridge-On Orbit (1950 feet in 4.3 miles at 10%, but pitches over 20%), Blackberry Hill (1175 feet in 2miles at 10%) and my favorite, Montebello Road (2,000 feet in 5 miles at 8% average).
