It is far enough from the main highway to be totally immersed in nature. This newly renovated, totally self contained one bedroom with queen bed, one bathroom this cottage has it all. Ideal for couples, it also caters to small families with a fold out double sofabed in the living room and a fully self-contained kitchen.

The Bird and Bike

This little flat, built into the end of our shed, is simple but quirky. Don't expect all brand spanking new plates and cutlery from Ikea - we've upcycled almost everything (except linen and towels). Set 30 metres from the main house, you'll have privacy to come and go as you please, but we love a chat if you do too! We're on 5 acres. Birdlife is right outside your door (- often including our chickens!). We're ten minutes walk from a beautiful estuary beach and 4km from Marlo township.

In the heart of East Gippsland we are a great place to base yourself to visit all the local attractions, from Paynesville to Metung, Lakes Entrance to the mountains. Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

You'll have your own kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, balcony and parking space. The balcony is such a sun trap so perfect for morning coffee session or evening wine and cheese time. I have two pets on the property but will be in main house (a golden retriever & a ginger cat).
