We built this cabin to be so cozy you'll never want to leave. Spend the day exploring the world famous hiking trails and rock climbing, and your evening soaking up the forrest in the hot tub. On our twenty acre preserve, there are 5 cave entrances and two caves that open into the State Park gorge, with many box canyons and waterfalls to explore. Whether you're enjoying the State Park's massive natural bridges, cave tours, horseback riding, swimming, fishing or kayaking on Smoky Lake or Tygarts Creek, our Cliffside Cabin rental is a great place to relax and explore.

The kitchen is stocked with supplies for preparing your own meals, but downtown Portsmouth restaurants are just 10 minutes away. Outside are patios for relaxing and woods for walking.

Seclusion is a completely custom, hand-crafted cabin complete with a treehouse room, koi pond, rocky landscape, observatory tower and more in an unbeatable location. This cabin is located just a mile or two off the Slade, KY exit on top of a ridge in Red River Gorge. Built by Paul Rhodes in his spare time, this passion project took over six years to complete and boasts a uniqueness unrivaled by other accommodations.
