Situated 5 minutes North of downtown Roscommon. This newly renovated 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house on 8 acres is peaceful, but still close to food and fun. 3 miles south of Forest Dunes Golf Course, 1 1/2 miles south of the Mason Tract of the AuSable river, 15 minutes from the Higgins Lake state park, and surrounded by State land and National Forest. Golfing, hiking, bon fires, hunting, fishing, ATV fun, and snowmobiling are right here.

The Castaway on the Ausable River Holy Waters

Tucked into the tall pines alongside the Holy Waters. The Castaway offers an amazing location for enjoying all the AuSable has to offer. Just outside the kitchen guests will enjoy an outdoor area & firepit. The deck around the front of the home has a grill and river front view. The cabin itself sits about 200 feet back from the river. Entry into the river off the property is ankle deep rocky bottom. This is not a party destination.

Relax here after a long day of hunting, skiing, or snowboarding at Treetops Resort or Otsego Resort in Gaylord (20 minutes).

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy the trails and the Au Sable river around the corner with canoe rental and pick up and drop off services along with access to a pool, shooting range and more amenities at Warblers Hideaway free of charge. There’s a pool table upstairs in the house and complementary corn hole boards on site.
