Come enjoy the spacious Hilltop Cottage located near the gorgeous Lake Margrethe! Conveniently located 2 walking blocks from the waters edge and close to snowmobile and ORV trails, this cottage has everything needed for a great up-north getaway. Located a 1/4 mile from the snowmobile trails you can ride from the front door to the trails, or from the trailhead nearby (see photos for proximity). Road end lake access, as well as 1.2 miles from the only public boat launch and state park on the lake.

Uniquely private on a street with only 3 homes, ours are separated from that 3rd non-lakefront one by a wooded lot. Experience the tranquility of a natural setting, with a dock and "gazebo"! Relax with the whole family in this peaceful private setting located on 5 private acres of woods with its own private walking trail. Centrally located only 5 minutes from downtown Grayling, the Au Sable and Manistee rivers, Public access to Lake Margrethe and Hanson Hills Recreational Area. You can access the DNR trailhead from the end of the road. No need to trailer anywhere once you are here. Turtle Creek Casino is 40 minutes away ! With downtown Traverse city another 10 minutes up the road.

No extra cleaning fee! Amazing waterfront retreat at Maggie Grayling's Lake House, 15 minutes from Grayling, Michigan on Lake Margrethe. In warm weather, step to our private beach on a clear, sandy-bottom lake perfect for swimming, wading, fishing, boating, etc. When the weather cools off, enjoy miles of trails for walking, ATVs, and snowmobiles. Ski at Hansen Hills or bundle up and go ice fishing. We are about 10 minutes from the Manistee and Au Sable for fly fishing, canoeing, and tubing.
