By DAY you can take a stroll, watch calves frolic, swans busy with their signets, darting dragonflies and watch as the cruisers sail past. By NIGHT you can sip a glass and watch the fabulous sunsets, have a BBQ or toast marshmallows over a pot bellied fire under a blanket of stars.

We aim to keep everything simple and comfortable so you can feel at ease - whether you’re passing through for a night or staying longer to explore the area. I am happy to recommend local walks, riverside stops, or cosy places to eat nearby.

My place is located on the river Shannon, in the picturesque village of Lanesborough, with stunning walk ways, fishing, bike hire, children's playground, great bars and restaurants You'll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the neighbourhood. My place is good for couples and families (with kids). Great weekend entertainment in the local bars and plenty to entertain the kids. Central to local towns Longford, Roscommon and Athlone.

Lough Rynn Selfcatering

This is a lovely four bed roomed house suitable for groups of friends, family occasions . There is a minimum of 6 guests needed for a booking. A 5 minute walk from Lough Rynn Castle Hotel. A 20 min drive from Carrick on Shannon. There are lovely restaurants in the area, and also the restaurant in the Hotel is lovely.
