This historic building originally built in 1907 was first occupied as the First National Bank in 1909. In 2024 it was renovated to offer a unique experience for our guests. Cockpit Retreat

No extra fees and free continental breakfast. Original 1934 hand built house, complete interior remodeled to modern comfort and aviation themed. Absolutely quiet time, enjoy the sounds of nature as you relax on the porch in the jacuzzi or feed the pigs. The house is the original 1934 house and has some little quirky features like uneven floors and walls but they just add more charm. Comes with free self serve continental breakfast choices with your stay.

The Hangar House

Enjoy our unique Hangar House on our beautiful one hundred fifty acre farm with grass runways, mountain views, and a twelve acre lake. For pilots who want to fly in you will have a truck available and please contact us first prior to landing. The house has a fully stocked kitchen, live music area, ping pong, board games, gym, hot tub, two grills and an abundance of wildlife to enjoy on the farm. Only seven minutes from the Talladega Super Speedway!

Sunrise Cabin (C1) at Parksland Retreat

Shared Sauna Available with cold plunge Saturday nights. Cabin is accessed by a trail (386 ft long) from the retreat center (521 ft from parking). Privy and shower are at the center.
