You’ll love my place because of its homely feel - lots of guests have commented that they feel at home in Chapel House, its fabulous aspect and its magical character. On the edge of the Peak District, Breach Farm is just outside the village of Carsington. Situated in beautiful countryside with rural views. Created from an old stone barn, the cottage is comfortably furnished and well equipped. We are next to Carsington Water and are ideally located for exploring the areas attractions, historic houses, pubs and walking routes. The market towns of Ashbourne, Matlock and Wirksworth are a short drive. Friday to Friday bookings preferred in peak season.

The Old Cattle Barn, Peak District - Valley View

A beautifully renovated stone barn, set in the grounds of a Grade 2* listed farm dating back to 1640. Meticulously transformed from the original cattle stalls into a modern, perfectly rustic two-bed, two-bath cottage in 2023, it retains the history and character of the original building. From this idyllic rural location on the Peak District National Park boundary, there are breathtaking valley views across Bradbourne Brook, and yet the barn is only a 10-minute drive into Ashbourne.

Tudor Cottage

A beautifully renovated private cottage, cosy and comfortable self catering accommodation. Tudor Cottage resides behind Tudor House, the earliest dated building in Brassington. Tudor Cottage would have been the brewhouse, the brewhouse was used for baking and cheese making as well as brewing This lovely old stone cottage has been recently renovated and independently attached to Tudor House, which is one of the oldest buildings in Brassington, the cottage is situated in Matlock.
