This one bedroom annex is part of a 200 year old barn conversion. Based in the Nidderdale area of outstanding natural beauty, the accommodation has its own private access and garden with seating area, internally the annex can accommodate 2 people and one friendly dog,unfortunately we can't accept Labradors due to the shedding of there coats, (please ensure you register your dog when booking). We are surrounded by wildlife, please look at other details for a list of birds an Ornithologist spotted

We’ve recently (2021) renovated an apple store and stable in our garden into a beautiful space. You can spot the restored apple picking ladders and exposed bricks from the original building. Located in the heart of Dishforth Village it’s walking distance a village drinking pub and a five minute drive to the award winning Crab & Lobster restaurant and The Angel at Topcliffe.

Situated in the garden of our family home Cowscot Cottage is the ideal place to get away from it all and explore all that North Yorkshire has to offer. The cottage is located in the village of Kirkby Malzeard in the Yorkshire Dales, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are surrounded by open countryside with farms, woodland, streams and moorland on the doorstep. Cowscot Cottage was once the stable of a farm complex, converted in the 1980's and renovated in 2019 to a very high standard.
