Carr Cottage is a characterful 19th century mill workers' dwelling situated in the heart of the Pennines in the beautiful Luddenden Valley with a multitude of walks and footpaths. Close to Halifax and its historic Piece Hall or Hebden Bridge with its vibrant arts and crafts scene. We are dog friendly with excellent walks for dogs and their people. Dogs must not be left unattended on the during your stay. Carr Cottage is cycle friendly with classic road or off road routes right rom the doorstep.

Tucked away, yet close to the centre of Colne, Ivy Nest is a unique cosy cottage which has retained many original quirky features. This special place is close to everything, including nearby shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance on the doorstep. It's also close to great walking, with Pendle Hill and Wycollar close by, also Skipton and Bronte Country a short journey away. Ideal for a couple, or singles..Ivy Nest has its own private enclosed courtyard, and is set over three floors.

The rural valley of Lothersdale is five miles from Skipton and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We offer bike use, numerous country walks and the excellent water comes from an aquifer (no chemical treatment). The popular tourist towns of Skipton and Haworth are nearby. * The Workshop is in the same building as my other property, Shed End.

Lower Hawkstones Farm

Lower Hawkstones Farm is a 18th century farmhouse and barn conversion set high on the Pennines. It’s wild and windy and we can get snow in the winter. There are fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and spectacular walks through woodland into the valley, or open moorland to the rear of the property. We have no public transport as the nearest bus stop is 1.5 miles away so own transport is recommended. There are lots of interesting places to eat within 15 mins by car

There are walks from the doorstep across fields, through woods or on country roads. Easy access to the Yorkshire Dales, Bolton Abbey, Worth Valley Railway, Leeds/Liverpool canal, Haworth plus the scenic areas of Skipton and Malham. Located a 2 minute walk to Hebden Bridge Train Station. Two car parks within a couple of minute walk from the property free overnight between 8pm- 8am. There is also free on street parking a couple of minute walk from the property on Burnley road, the same road as the property.
