In 2019, we expanded our vision & have built a timber frame barn (over 300 ft from the house), featuring a site (Wonderlust Acres) for weddings & events. Our cozy cabin (undamaged from Helene ‘24), tucked on the mountainside near Todd NC is a serene get-away: rip up the ski slopes, appreciate the fresh mountain air, or simply enjoy some family time. Just 20-25 minutes from Boone. Enjoy all the High Country has to offer: skiing and tubing the nearby mountains, charming towns, App State...or stay in and relax on the porch or by the wood-burning fireplace. Newly-updated furniture, appliances, and bedding...and cookware to satisfy most foodies.

HURRICANE NOTE: We have power, water, hot water, wifi and cool mountain air. Our road is fine and businesses in the area are opening back up and wishing visitors to return. Tiny home cabin, set in a grove of trees yet minutes to downtown Boone. Intimate two-person hot tub. Propane fireplace, two mini-split ac/heaters, two tv's fully loaded, full size fridge, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, loft with queen bed. Covered porch with grill and hot tub, fire pit out back.

The unique home is situated 0.4 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway at mile marker 256. You can see a panoramic view of 4 mountain ranges from the decks. The cabin is about 2 miles from the Summit on Cross Mountain wedding venue. We have hosted lots of guests for wedding celebrations. We are also close to Zaloos, which is one of the most popular rental places for canoeing, kayaking and floating the New River. It is also about 10 min from West Jefferson for dining, shopping and entertainment.
