Het CW House is een historisch 115 jaar oud huis.

Je wilt deze charmante, unieke plek niet verlaten. Een statige woning van twee verdiepingen gebouwd door TS Cavins, een van de oprichters van Claude Texas. Later renoveerde zijn kleinzoon, Bert Wooldridge, het huis en bleef het 114 jaar binnen het gezin. Het huis werd in 2021 gekocht om gedeeld te worden met het publiek als The CW House, Guest House, met 5 slaapkamers en 5 1/2 badkamers. Het doet denken aan een van de historische dagen van Claude en combineert de onlangs gerenoveerde voorzieningen van nu.

Gem Theatre Room - at CW House

If you love being in the spotlight, then this is the room for you. An actual spotlight helps to honor Marianna Wooldridge’s love for the Gem Theatre and the museum next door of which she was an avid supporter. The Gem Theatre is located in downtown Claude and hosts many events to this day. Maybe you can catch a play, show or performance while you stay at the CW. The bathroom has been updated with a walk-in shower, queen size bed and TV. Connects to Teacher room for Family style stay.

Bankers Room - at The CW House

T.S. Cavins was not the only banker in the family. His daughter, Myrtle, married Bert Clay Wooldridge who was also president of the bank 1925-1968. His son Bert Cavins Wooldridge was president from 1968 – 1979, then Marianne Wooldridge (wife of Bert Cavins Wooldridge) became president form 1979-1982. This room has a refined, masculine elegance featuring a queen size bed, TV, original fireplace and added bathroom. It is a favorite among guests.

Teacher Room - at CW House

This room is inspired by Marianne Wooldridge and her love for education. Marianne taught in the Claude schools for many years. She was a beloved teacher and helped shape the lives of many students. The room has 2 twin beds, a TV and plenty of books and games to enjoy. Its full bathroom features a claw foot tub and vintage vanity shared with Gem Theatre Room. It can also connect to the Gem Theatre Room for that family that needs to be close.

Welkom bij onze charmante boerderij met 3 bedden en 2 badkamers in het hart van het historische Claude, Texas! Dit ruime toevluchtsoord met een oppervlakte van 1.532 vierkante meter biedt plaats aan maximaal 8 gasten, waardoor het ideaal is voor gezinnen of groepen die op zoek zijn naar een gezellig uitje! Of je nu hier bent om te relas of te verkennen, ons huis biedt een comfortabele en handige uitvalsbasis voor je verblijf in Claude!

Palace Room - at CW house

This room was named after the 1st hotel in Claude. The Palace Hotel was built in 1890 and housed the unchartered bank in the corner room. This room is furnished with a king size bed, sitting area, antique dresser, TV and an original fireplace. The connecting bathroom has a bath shower combination that has been updated but still mixes the unique 1960 blue porcelain tub, sink and commode.

Garden Room - at CW House

This downstairs room is perfect for catching the morning sun and relaxing while reading a book; an important activity to Marianne as she served many years as the school librarian. The room is decorated with botanical prints which honor another interest for her – her garden. It is furnished with a queen size bed, TV and has a unique shower and small bathtub.
