Little House By the Lake

This is our happy place and we hope you will love it, too! Our secluded house by the lake is two bedroom (one master with a king-size and a 2nd bedroom with 4 kid bunk beds, room to sleep on the couch, too), two bath, full kitchen, washer, dryer, games, gas fire pit, deck, deck by the lake, dock, tall trees, and tranquility. Near the south end of the lake and it is shallow. Great fishing. THE HOUSE HAS A FAINT CIGARETTE SMELL. FEW NOTICE. DO NOT BOOK IF YOU HAVE ANY SORT OF SMOKE SENSITIVITIES.

This cozy cottage has been totally renovated and designed for your comfort and enjoyment. We have addressed every detail to make your stay a memorable one. The cottage is a perfect country retreat. You will enjoy nature, being surrounded by trees, birds, wildlife and a beautiful sunrise. We are located just 2 miles from downtown Palestine and 3 miles to the Texas State Railroad yet in a country setting behind a security gate with your private code. We have farm animals and we run an animal rescue that can have up to 32 dogs. They stay in a fenced-in yard where the pool is located and love to swim with guests! We have added Starlink internet to the cabin as well as a smart TV to greatly enhance your entertainment options during your stay.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Enjoy swimming off the back deck, the ambiance of sitting on the many decks enjoying the beauty of the lake or just relaxing to watch the sunset. If the weather is cooler you may want to enjoy sitting around the gas firepit on the deck or the wood burning fireplace in the Sunroom!
