This stunning room was named in tribute to the delightful Northern Spy apple that once grew in the rolling hills and beautiful countryside of Gettysburg and Adams County. During the 1860's nearly every farmer had an apple orchard to use for the family and livestock. Because of the rich soil many of the farmers expanded their orchards and began selling apples as well as other produce. Today Pennsylvania is ranked as one of the largest apple growing states in the nation and our area has some of the largest orchards in PA. This eye catching room has everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

Gettysburg Mini Farm

A quiet mini farm just outside historic Gettysburg. Private entrance. Living area, full kitchen stocked with condiments and breakfast items. One bedroom with queen bed and twin daybed with trundle. We currently have chickens, an apiary and alpacas. We sometimes have cows. TV works with dvd's. we have some feel free to bring your own. SLOW internet, but the best we can get here. Some phones do not work very well out here. Only 15 minutes from downtown Gettysburg but we are far from services.

1869 Farmhouse, completly updated with modern conviences. Close to Gettysburg battlefield, wineries, State Parks & the Appalachian Trial. There are 5 bedrooms available to rent that can sleep 2 to 4 guests in twin or king beds with a total of 16 that can be accomodated in the house. Each room has its own private bathroom. Continental breakfast with one hot entree for short term guests. Shared common area includes kitchen, dining room and living room. Strangers enter but friends leave.
